As the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo nears, we’re kicking off a busy season for Brazos County Go Texan. And we’re proud to say that all our hard work has not gone unnoticed!
We were recently awarded Second Place in the State for 2018 Committee Participation at the Area Go Texan District Meeting.
And this isn’t the only time we’ve been up for this honor. In 2016 – we took home the trophy!
We’re very proud to receive this award, which is based on all activities we do. This includes the projects mandated by Houston Administration and the ones we do on our own. It’s awarded on the culmination of “all-round effort,” placing in contests, and money given to scholarship students.
All of this is to say THANK YOU to all our dedicated members who make dreams come true for students in our community. You are outstanding!
