A Spicy Competition
Think your chili has what it takes to impress the judges? Join in on the fun at our annual chili cook off event! The date and location will be announced later this year. This event is typically held in October/November.
Interested in competing? Registration is $150. Calcutta is $50.
1st place winners receive $600 cash and 1st-3rd place all receive a custom metal trophy. But the real winners are the students who will be able to pay for their education because of your generosity!
While this is not an International Chili Society (ICS) event, we do follow ICS traditional red chili rules.
“Traditional Red Chili is any kind of meat, or combination of meats, cooked with red chili peppers, various spices and other ingredients. Beans and non-vegetable fillers such as rice and pasta are not allowed. Preference is not given to either cut meat, ground meat, shredded meat or cubed meat.”

8:00am – Team Sign-in & Set Up
10:00am – Cooks Meeting
10:15am – Competition Cooking
2:30pm – Turn in
2:45pm – Judging
4:45pm – Announcements and awards
5:30 – Breakdown and Cleanup
